Our PTA

Longvernal School PTA has been very effective in raising funds and organising activities for our children. Our events are always well supported and enjoyed by all who attend.

In recent years the PTA have raised funds for books and for the library as well as for much appreciated resources for classrooms. They also donate funds for the purchase of our Year 6 leavers' photographs.

The PTA are much valued friends of Longvernal. As new parents you will be warmly welcomed to our functions and our meetings.

Play Park

Our Play Park is the culmination of almost a year's work, with consultations involving the whole school community - children, parents, staff, governors and representatives from our Play Group and Holiday Play Scheme.

The Play Park provides a more interesting and varied play environment and encourages more creative physical and social development - but best of all - it's FUN!

We believe our Play Park is a shining example of how our school community is able to work co-operatively to achieve a common goal.

We have a good school association who run Fetes, Bingo & Discos which are fun and raise money to buy us extra things like books.
