On Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of March, Longvernal was visited by Helen from The Dogs Trust. After a highly informative whole-school assembly, Helen held workshops in each class, quizzing them on their understanding of a dog’s five senses, challenging them to decide whether a human or dog has a better sense of smell… taste… sight… etc.… It was interesting for the children to learn about how dogs behave and how to treat dogs, in general.
