Pupil Premium Grant

The Government introduced the Pupil Premium Grant in April 2011, as a means of addressing underlying inequalities between children from low income families who are eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their peers, by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.

Schools are accountable for how they have used the funding to support pupils from low income families and are required to publish the information online.

Annually, we will publish a detailed report showing our plan on how we will use this funding to support our Pupil Premium pupils to reach their fullest potential and the intended impact. We will also include a review of the impact of this funding from the previous year.
