Thank you so much to all the parents and carers who attended this morning’s Maths breakfast. Our aim for the morning was to give a little insight into how maths is taught here at Longvernal. Our main focus for today was progression in addition and subtraction from early years through to year 6. We finished the morning with a showcase – a group of children (or superheroes!) from every year group demonstrated their addition and subtraction skills for parents to see.
We will run another session later in the year for multiplication and division.
